1. LeavesThe leaves of the naked capsule are single leaves that grow alternately, and are heart-shaped, broadly ovate or kidney-shaped, 3-5 cm long and 3-5 cm wide. The upper leaves gradually become smaller, with sharper tips and earlobe-shaped sides at the base. There are inconspicuous, finer round teeth on the edges of the leaves, and obvious reticulation on the back, generally with three main veins. The petiole is about 3 cm, almost as long as the leaf, and grows semi-amplexicaulically. 2. FlowersThe naked capsule flowers are in the form of racemes growing at the top of the stem, opposite the leaves, with a length of about 12 cm, and the length of the pedicel can reach about cm. The flowers of naked capsules are relatively small, and the bracts are also very small. They grow in an oval and round shape. The flowering period is from June to September, from midsummer to early autumn, and then the flowers fall and the fruits are formed. |
