1. Difference of blades

The leaves of peach blossom are elliptical-lanceolate in shape with serrated edges. The petiole is about 1-2 cm long and glabrous on both sides. The leaves of plum blossoms are oval or elliptical in shape, about 4-8 cm long, 2.5-5 cm wide, and gray-green in color. When it is young, it has short soft hairs on both sides, which will gradually fall off in the later growth, leaving only the axils of the surface veins. The petioles are also hairy when young, which will fall off when old.

2. The difference between flowers

Peach blossoms grow solitary and come in colors such as white, pink and red. It has double or semi-double petals, and blooms from March to April every year. The plum blossom grows singly or sometimes two flowers grow in one bud. The flower color changes from white to pink, and the flowering period is in winter and spring.

3. Fruit Difference

When peach blossoms bear fruit, they are nearly round in shape, with yellow-green skin and come in many varieties. The fruit of the plum blossom is nearly spherical and yellow or greenish-white in color.
