Cultivation methods and precautions of Aquilegia

Cultivation methods and precautions of Aquilegia

1. Suitable potting soil

When cultivating, use flower pots of appropriate size and fill the pots with highly permeable soil. It is best to use soil containing humus. Also, add a certain amount of base fertilizer when planting. The soil used must be disinfected first to prevent pathogens from harming the root growth of the plant.

2. Light intensity

When it is in the period of vigorous growth, try to provide it with sufficient sunlight for a long time. Only in this way can it grow more vigorously. When the light intensity is relatively high, appropriate shading measures must be taken and good ventilation should be ensured. It can also grow in a semi-shaded environment, as long as the maintenance environment is not too dark.

3. Suitable temperature

Whether the temperature of the breeding environment is suitable is also extremely important. If conditions permit, it is best to keep the temperature at around 15-35 degrees. The temperature cannot exceed the limit temperature. If it grows in places that are too low or too high, it is easy to grow poorly.

IV. Precautions

It needs to absorb water during the growth process. It is best to water it according to the evaporation rate of water. If the soil is not too dry, you don’t need to water it. Also note that there should be no excess water in the pot. If there is water accumulation, it should be drained as soon as possible.
