How to remedy the yellowing of Anthurium leaves (hydroponics, soil cultivation, and winter treatment methods)

How to remedy the yellowing of Anthurium leaves (hydroponics, soil cultivation, and winter treatment methods)

1. Hydroponics remedial measures

1. It is caused by insufficient light or exposure to strong stimulating light. Therefore, it is necessary to place it in a place where it can see light but not strong light for maintenance. In this way, it will slowly recover after a period of maintenance.

2. The water needs to be replaced regularly, and the replacement time is about 7 to 10 days. However, the weather is hot in summer, so it needs to be added with water frequently. The best water for hydroponics is natural water such as rainwater, well water, and river water. If you want to use tap water, you need to discharge the chlorine in it before use.

3. It is not possible to use only clean water for hydroponics. There must be certain nutrients in it. You can directly put in a few drops of nutrient solution or a few grains of fertilizer.

2. Soil culture remedial measures

1. It is advisable to provide it with soil with sufficient nutrients and slightly acidic texture for maintenance, or you can just water the old soil with some rice flour mixed with water and then water the plant, which can also make it grow well.

2. Reduce the water supply and just meet its growth needs. Remove the waterlogged soil in time and replace it with new soil for planting. After that, just maintain its normal water management, and its leaves will gradually resume growth.

3. How to deal with winter

It should be maintained in a relatively warm place to avoid frost damage that may cause the leaves to turn yellow and wilt. Also, reduce moisture and stay away from radiators and air conditioners.
