The difference between Kochia seeds and Kochia skin

1. Difference

Kochia scoparia seeds and Kochia scoparia peel belong to the same plant. Kochia scoparia seeds are fruits, which are oblate in shape and about 1-3 mm in diameter. They can be used as medicine and are a kind of medicinal material. They are also called Yiming. After the plant matures, the whole plant is harvested, then dried, and the fruit is taken out to make medicinal materials with multiple therapeutic effects. Kochia scoparia is a herbaceous plant with many aliases, such as broom seedling, broom vegetable, ground wheat, fallen broom, Guanyin vegetable, etc. The plants grow closely together, with many branches on the stem. The leaves are alternate, linear or strip-shaped. The flowering period is from June to September, appearing as spike inflorescences, and will open small brown flowers. The flowers are very small. The fruiting period is from July to October, and the fruits are what we call Kochia scoparia.
