Planet breeding methods and precautions

1. Maintenance methods

1. Temperature: The temperature suitable for its development is between 15 and 25 degrees. When the temperature is below -5 degrees, anti-freeze measures need to be taken in time, because -5 degrees is its extreme temperature. If left unattended, it will soon be frostbitten. Shade is needed in summer, with a shade degree of 50%.

2. Watering: It likes moisture. When cultivating it, the soil should be kept moist for a long time to avoid the soil from drying out. Between April and October, it needs to be watered every other day because this is its growing season and its water consumption is more serious. It also needs to be watered in winter, but the watering interval needs to be extended a little. Generally, watering once or twice a week is sufficient.

3. Fertilization: Pay attention to fertilization during the growing period, no fertilization is required during the non-growing period.

4. Light: It likes a growing environment with plenty of sunlight, so during the growth process, it should be given as much light as possible. The light in summer is relatively harsh, so shade measures need to be taken to ensure that the shade degree is 130 to 40 percent. Normal light can be given at other times.

2. Breeding techniques

1. Reproduction: You can use the sowing method for reproduction. The breeding time is after the spring. Evenly sprinkle the prepared seeds into the prepared cultivation soil, water it thoroughly once, and place it in a warm and humid environment. The seedlings will emerge in about a week.

2. Repotting: Generally, repotting is required once a year. The time for repotting is after the beginning of spring, because its condition is relatively stable at this time and repotting will not have much impact on it. When repotting, you need to gently shake off the soil on the roots, then trim off the rotten and dry roots, disinfect the incision and then replant.

3. Problem Diagnosis

1. Pathology: Plants that live in a low temperature and insufficient light environment for a long time are prone to red rot. There are no abnormalities in the early stage of red rot. In the middle stage, small red spots will appear on the midrib. In the later stage, the plant will rot. The treatment of red rot is simple. Just mix organic mercury with water and then spray the plants to treat it.

2. The plant becomes soft: If the plant becomes soft, it may be caused by excessive watering. You only need to dig it out, clean the rotten roots, and replant it in soil with better drainage.

IV. Other issues

1. Toxicity: The juice flowing in it is toxic and not harmless. You need to be careful when maintaining it to avoid getting it on your skin. If it gets on your hands, you need to wash it off with soap solution in time.

2. Edibility: The plant is poisonous and cannot be eaten.
