1. Variety differences

The money tree and the lucky tree are different, they are two different plants. The money tree is also called the fortune tree, the Malabar chestnut, the Central American kapok, etc. It is an evergreen small tree belonging to the Araliaceae family and the genus Pseudocopsis.

The money tree is the Queensland umbrella tree, also known as the big-leaf umbrella and the Australian Schefflera. It is somewhat similar to the former, but different in nature.

2. Leaf Difference

The leaves of the money tree are relatively small, with the leaflets being about 12-15 cm long and about 6 cm wide. The texture is relatively hard, and there will be 4-7 leaves on a small branch, which is about eight leaves. The leaves have various shapes. You can let them grow as you like, or you can braid them like braids, which is more beautiful.

The leaves of the fortune tree are larger, about 20-30 cm long and about 10 cm wide. They are relatively soft in texture, arranged in distinct layers, and hang down like an umbrella.

3. Flower Difference

The money tree generally does not bloom. Its flowering period is from April to May. The flowers are rich in colors, including red, white, yellow and other colors.

The color of the money tree is relatively simple, not as many colors as the former, and the only color is white.
