Cultivation methods and precautions of Yudiemei

Cultivation methods and precautions of Yudiemei

1. Soil

The best soil to choose is sandy loam that is fertile, loose, thick, and has good water-permeability. This kind of soil can provide sufficient nutrients to meet the growth needs of the plant.

2. Water

It has a great demand for water, especially during the peak growth period, and sufficient water should be ensured. Watering should be done about three times a week. When watering, make sure to water thoroughly without accumulating water. On rainy days, drain the water in a timely manner. Too much stagnant water can easily cause root rot.

3. Nutrients

It is best to choose phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. The amount of fertilizer applied should be controlled to avoid uneven fertilizer application. Only reasonable topdressing can ensure the growth needs of the plant. It is best to apply fertilizer once every half a month. When applying fertilizer, avoid sprinkling it on the roots of the plant to avoid root burns.

4. Lighting

It is a sun-loving plant. Only when it absorbs sufficient light can it grow and develop faster and better. Place it in a sunny place and the exposure time should be guaranteed to be more than four hours a day, but it does not like too strong light. When the sunlight is too strong, it should be properly shaded.
