Syngonium cultivation methods and precautions

Syngonium cultivation methods and precautions

1. Adequate astigmatism

Syngonium is suitable for growing in a semi-shady environment. It has a strong adaptability to light and likes to grow in a diffuse light environment. Only by maintaining sufficient diffuse light can it grow vigorously and promote normal photosynthesis. If it grows in a place with poor sunlight for a long time, the leaves will be dull and the growth will be weak.

2. Application of water and fertilizer

Syngonium is a plant that likes moisture and is suitable for growing in a humid and warm environment. It can be watered every two or three days during the growing season. The evaporation in summer is strong, so it can be watered once a day to keep the soil in the pot moist. The application of nutrients is also critical. You can choose the period of vigorous growth and apply fertilizer every half a month. Apply light fertilizer and do not use concentrated fertilizer.

3. Suitable temperature

It is suitable for growing in a warm environment, and the temperature should be kept around 15-25℃ as much as possible. It grows well within this range. In winter, you must keep warm and the temperature must be controlled at least above 5℃ to avoid frostbite and ensure that the Syngonium spends the winter safely.

4. Soil Preparation

Soil conditions are the basis of growth. It is necessary to provide fertile, loose, and well-permeable soil. It can be prepared with sandy soil, garden soil, and leaf mold, and maintain good drainage. Such soil will be conducive to growth.

5. Notes

Syngonium likes a high humidity environment, so it is necessary to spray water appropriately during its growth to maintain a high air humidity.
