Watering

Sunflower has a well-developed root system and is drought-tolerant but not drought-tolerant. From sowing to budding, a dry environment is conducive to the growth and development of its root system, but as the light intensity increases, water evaporation accelerates and the plant needs nutrients to bloom and bear fruit. Especially during the flowering season, replenishing water can ensure the quality of the flowers. Fertilization

Sunflowers like fertilizer and should be fertilized once every 7 to 10 days during the growing season.

Nitrogen fertilizer is mainly used during the sunflower seedling stage to promote strong branches and leaves.
