How to fertilize jasmine

Fertilization in spring, summer and autumn

Spring, summer and autumn are the peak growth seasons for jasmine. Normal fertilizer and water management should follow the steps from applying base fertilizer to extremely strong water, then to adding fertilizer, and then to clean water. This cycle should be repeated every 1-4 days. During sunny days and high temperatures, the intervals between fertilizer and water are shorter. If the rainy weather cycle is too long, you can water less or not apply fertilizer.

You can add a thin layer of fertilizer after flowering, and apply nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium compound liquid fertilizer again after 10 days, and spray potassium dihydrogen phosphate solution on the leaves in combination with watering, which can promote germination and differentiation.

Thin alum fertilizer should be applied twice during the growing period to prevent the soil from becoming alkaline and causing the leaves to turn yellow and fall off. The ratio of water to fertilizer in summer should be controlled at 9:1. Before entering the room in November, spray the plant with the same concentration of potassium dihydrogen phosphate 1-2 times to increase the plant's resistance to cold and help the plant survive the winter safely.

Fertilizing flowers in winter

During the winter dormancy period, the main thing to do is to control water and fertilizer.

For potted plants, apply fertilizer and water 2-4 times according to their own drought conditions. After winter and before spring, apply fertilizer once again, but no watering is needed.
