How to fertilize Allium orchid

Allium zephyranthes is the same as other herbaceous flowers. It requires more fertilizer and water, so it is necessary to apply appropriate fertilizer during the growth period. Usually apply a thin liquid fertilizer once a month to meet the basic growth needs of Allium orchid.

What Allium orchid fears most is indiscriminate fertilization, excessive fertilizer concentration and imbalance of various elements. When applying fertilizer, you should follow the principle of "applying light fertilizer frequently, in small amounts and multiple times, and with complete nutrition". Of course, when applying liquid fertilizer, you should adhere to the principle of "watering thoroughly" so that every part of the soil can be moisturized by the fertilizer.

As for the time to apply fertilizer, in spring and summer, it is usually in the morning or evening when the temperature is slightly lower, and water directly. In autumn and winter, you can apply fertilizer at noon when the weather is clear. Do not touch the leaves when applying fertilizer to avoid sunburn. Also try to keep the leaves dry at night. The next day, you can water the plants appropriately to further dilute the fertilizer and promote absorption.

What kind of fertilizer is Onion Orchid

When fertilizing Allium orchid, pay attention to the reasonable use of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium fertilizers. Do not arbitrarily apply more fertilizers. Normal fertilizers have relatively balanced elements and can basically meet the growth needs of Allium orchid. During specific periods, especially before and after flowering, you can appropriately increase the application of phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to promote flowering and recovery after flowering.

If conditions permit, you can also use homemade fertilizers, but they cannot be used for a long time. You can combine the two to ensure a balance of nutrients.
