How to grow Ji Qiuli

How to grow Ji Qiuli

Method of blooming pot

Lighting Management

When the plant is grown in an environment with sufficient sunlight and a large temperature difference between day and night, the color of its leaves will be brighter and more moist, making the plant more beautiful.

Therefore, if you want the plant to bloom out of the pot, there must be sufficient light to ensure that the leaves of the plant grow bright and beautiful.

Moisture Management

The plant of Echeveria itself contains water, so in order to prevent root rot due to excessive water, you should pay attention to watering less and control the amount of water.

When growing the plant, choose a flower pot with drainage holes at the bottom so that water does not accumulate and cause root rot. Generally, it is necessary to water the plant once every 10 days or so, and make sure it is watered thoroughly.

Temperature Management

During the high temperatures in summer, attention should be paid to ventilation and exposure to the sun is prohibited to avoid sunburn of the plants. In order for the plants to grow normally, the summer temperature should be balanced, not higher than 35 degrees and not lower than 5 degrees.

The temperature in winter must be kept warm, generally above 5 degrees, and attention should be paid to controlling watering.

Soil selection

The maintenance of Jiqiuli requires sandy soil with good air permeability and drainage. It can be mixed with 1 part of pine needle soil, vermiculite, leaf mold and sandy soil;

Also remember to repot every other year.

Trimming

When you see dry old leaves, you should remove them in time to avoid bacterial growth due to accumulation, which will affect the healthy growth of the plant.

When the plants grow too tall and too dense, they also need to be pruned. You can cut off the excess branches. You don’t have to throw away the cut branches, because if you use the cut branches for cuttings, they can grow into new plants!
