How to breed Black Prince

How to breed Black Prince

We generally use cuttings for propagation. The specific breeding methods are as follows:

During the growth period of Black Prince, break off mature, healthy and complete leaves, and dry them for one to two days before cuttings. When cutting, they should be slightly tilted or placed flat in the cutting medium. The cutting medium is generally sandy soil or vermiculite. Keep it slightly moist, so that it will quickly take root at the base and new shoots will grow soon. When the new shoots grow larger, they can be planted separately to grow into new plants. You can also use young plants growing next to old plants for cuttings, which are also easier to survive.

Management and maintenance of Black Prince

The Black Prince will have a short dormant period during the high temperatures of summer. During the dormant period, the Black Prince will grow slowly or even stop growing. At this time, it should be placed in a ventilated place for maintenance. Do not expose it to rain for a long time. Provide appropriate shading, water in moderation, and do not apply fertilizer at this time.

Spring, autumn and early summer are the critical growth periods for Black Prince. At this time, it should be given sufficient sunlight and fertilized in moderation. Once too much fertilizer is applied, excessive nitrogen fertilizer in the soil will cause the plant to grow too vigorously.

Therefore, it is usually necessary to keep the soil in the pot slightly dry to inhibit the growth rate of the plant and make it grow slower, which will have better results.

The temperature is lower in winter. If the temperature is not lower than 10℃, you can water the plants normally without fertilizing. If the temperature is lower than 10℃, control watering to make the plants dormant. When the plants enter dormancy, they can withstand low temperatures of 3-5℃.

This is all I have to say about the breeding method of Black Prince. If flower lovers are attracted by Black Prince, take action quickly!
