The first step is to prepare the materials, which include plastic bottles, a knife, transparent tape, cuttings, potassium permanganate solution, foam board and water.

The second step is to organize the branches of gardenia, remove the appropriate branches, and then remove the leaves at the bottom. Soak it in potassium permanganate solution for disinfection, usually for half an hour. After disinfection, dry it and set it aside.

Step three: dispose of plastic bottles. Cut it in half, but be careful not to cut it.

The fourth step is to carry out cuttings. Cut the foam board into circles and then insert the processed branches on it. Break open the plastic bottle, add water into it, and place the foam board in the bottle. Make sure the water covers the base of the branches.

Step 5. Close the plastic bottle and stick it together with tape. In this way, the branches of gardenia can be kept at a higher humidity, making it easier to take root.
