Succulent root rot

Mild root rot

Solution:

First, place the succulents in a well-ventilated and well-lit place to speed up the evaporation of moisture.

Secondly, leave the small hole under the succulent flower pot suspended to allow excess water to flow out as quickly as possible.

Severe root rot

Severe root rot means that the roots of succulents have turned black and rotted.

Solution:

1. Remove the succulent plants from the pots, clean the roots with clean water, and cut off the rotten parts until healthy roots are visible.

2. Soak the wound part in carbendazim solution for about 1 hour to avoid infection, and then place it in scattered light to dry for 2 days.

3. Prepare new soil, 60% peat soil + 40% vermiculite. Vermiculite can be replaced with perlite and other particles. Put the succulents in pots.

4. After potting, water thoroughly and place the succulents in a place with good ventilation and scattered light (such as a living room). They will take root in about a week. Before taking root, water them to keep the soil dry and moist.

5. After that, you must water the succulents when they are dry and wet. Pick up the succulents and test them before watering. If the weight becomes lighter, you can water them. Remember to expose them to more sunlight.

3. Soak the wound of the money tree in carbendazim solution or potassium permanganate solution for half an hour, and then place it in a cool and ventilated place to dry.

4. Apply rooting powder on the wound of the money tree and put it back in the pot. The soil can be made of peat soil + river sand + slow-release fertilizer in a ratio of 7:2:1.

5. After potting the money tree, place it in a cool and ventilated place. Do not water it for a short period of time. Wait until new leaves grow before watering it thoroughly.

6. Before watering the money tree, dig up 3 to 4 cm of soil on the surface to see if it is completely dry. If it is not completely dry, wait a little longer. For a small money tree, you only need to dig up 2 to 3 cm of soil.
