How to sow tomato seeds after buying them

Sowing basic information

Tomato is one of the nutritious vegetables suitable for sowing. The sowing time is in spring and autumn, and it can usually be harvested about 80 days after sowing.

Tomato is an annual plant and is relatively easy to grow. The suitable temperature for its growth is between 15℃ and 35℃, and it can be cultivated indoors or outdoors.

Seed propagation

The sowing and propagation of tomatoes is relatively simple. Just sow the tomato seeds into the soil.

Choose a suitable sowing container and put an appropriate amount of soil in it. Generally, the soil should be 70% to 80% full. Water it first and then sow the seeds.

After sowing tomatoes, first cover the seeds with a layer of nutrient soil, making sure to bury the seeds, and then press gently with your hands to compact the soil.

After sowing, you can spray some water to keep the soil moist. The temperature should be kept between 20℃ and 25℃, and then place it in a place with bright light, but be careful to avoid direct sunlight. It will germinate in about 2 weeks.

After germination, tomatoes need to be kept dry and moist, and the light exposure needs to be gradually increased. Transplant them when the plant has more than three leaves.
