How to plant succulent snow lotus seeds

Preparation for sowing fleshy snow lotus

When sowing snow lotus, be sure to prepare the seedling tray, lid and tray.

Place a layer of leak-proof net on the seedling tray, and then start adding soil, usually Akadama soil or vermiculite. Note that the soil must be disinfected in advance. After laying the soil, be sure to spray it and keep it moist.

Sowing of succulent snow lotus

When sowing snow lotus, usually the spot sowing method is adopted. The seeds of snow lotus are relatively small, so you must be careful when sowing and use toothpicks or something like that to sow. After sowing, soak the pot. Do not spray or water it to avoid washing the seeds away. When soaking the pot, be careful not to use too much water to prevent the seeds from floating.

Fill the lid with water and soak the basin. Note that the water should be just enough to wet the seeds, no more.

After soaking the pot, you can cover it with the lid to keep it warm. Moreover, there will be a lot of water mist on the lid, which can also play a moisturizing role.

Precautions after sowing the succulent snow lotus

After sowing the snow lotus, you need to open the lid every day to allow it to breathe.

After sowing, generally 13-15 days, there will be many seedlings. At this time, you can remove the lid and remember to soak the pot every day. When the seedlings grow up, they can be transplanted.
