How to water the Millennium Wood

How to water the Millennium Wood

Characteristics of this plant

Because its original planting area is near the equator, it prefers a hot and rainy climate, and of course its demand for water is relatively high. The soil in the pot should be kept moist at all times. Lack of water will cause the leaves to wither and fall off. However, the water should not be too much. If it is waterlogged, it will cause leaves to fall off or turn yellow.

Adjust according to the time period

Spring is the growth and development period of plants. Of course, watering must be sufficient, otherwise it cannot meet the plants' vigorous needs.

Growth is faster in summer and the temperature is high, which means that more water is lost, so more water is needed than in spring. If you see the soil is dry, you must actively add water.

The temperature in autumn and winter is relatively low. If the soil is always too moist, it is likely to cause rot in the roots of the plants. Then, just water it appropriately, but never too much. If the soil is not too dry, you can stop watering for a while.

Other treatments

When the plants are in a very dry period or a period of high temperature in summer, in addition to regular watering, in order to replenish the lost water in time, you can also spray some mist or sprinkle some water on the leaves, and do this once or twice a day. You can also do this in winter to ensure the cleanliness of the leaves, but it is best to wipe the water clean after spraying to prevent the water from freezing due to low temperatures.

To control the timing of watering, you can determine it by observing whether the soil is dry. Wait until the soil is completely dry before watering. When watering, don't water too much, just half full is enough. There must not be water accumulation in the pot.

Do not leave plants outdoors during the rainy season to avoid waterlogging.
