How to keep Haworthia crystal clear in winter

How to keep Haworthia crystal clear in winter

How to keep it crystal clear?

Carry out stuffy care.

Winter State

When the temperature drops to 5 degrees in winter, Haworthia will stop growing. If the temperature can be controlled above 12 degrees, you don't need to stop watering.

It is much easier to grow Haworthia in the south than in the north, because the winter in the north is dry and cold, and both indoors and outdoors are very dry, which will cause Haworthia to lose its moisture and luster and become dry and wrinkled.

How to keep warm in winter

Put the entire flower pot in a sealed box, which does more than just cover the succulent.

During this period, reduce watering and increase ventilation. You can open the sealed box at noon every day to let it breathe, to prevent the temperature from being too high at noon, which will lead to high humidity in the sealed box, which can easily cause the meat to rot and also create opportunities for some diseases and pests.

It should be sealed again before the sun sets, as it starts to absorb moisture at night.

Precautions

If the indoor temperature reaches above 20 degrees, do not keep it in a stuffy place.

Watering is a big problem when growing a plant in a sealed environment. If you accidentally water it too much, you should not continue to grow it in a sealed environment. Or, if the plant has just been watered, it is not suitable for sealed environment. Although the water can make it crystal clear, it will also burst after a while.

The requirements for succulents to be kept in a sealed environment in winter are relatively high. If there are problems with the root system or if they have not yet fully adapted to the pot, they must not be kept in a sealed environment, otherwise they will really be suffocated to death.
