1. Season1. SpringSpring is the time of year when plants grow rapidly. The air contains more water and the temperature is relatively low. The water in the soil is better locked in, so the water is lost slowly. We have to extend the watering interval a bit, about once a week will be enough. 2. SummerThe weather is hot in the summer, and there may be drought. Plants are particularly prone to lack of water and become wilted at this time. The soil in the pots where the plants are planted will also dry out quickly. Then we have to shorten the watering interval. We can't go a week or even longer without watering like in spring and winter, otherwise the plants will die of thirst. We basically have to water the plants once every three or four days to help them get through this ordeal. 2. Indoor and outdoorWatering plants indoors and outdoors is different. Generally, the watering interval for plants grown outdoors is relatively short, while that for plants grown indoors is relatively long. Under outdoor conditions, plants lose water faster than indoors due to factors such as air, wind speed, and humidity. The test of wind and sun will definitely consume more water than the comfort of indoor environment. 3. SoilIn fact, there is no regular pattern as to whether or not to water plants and how much to water them. Different seasons, different temperatures, and different humidity will all affect the amount of watering. The most direct way to judge whether to water or not is to look at the soil. If the surface of the soil in the pot is white and there are some gaps, it means that it is short of water and it is time to water it. If the soil in the pot is relatively moist, it means that the plant is not so short of water. At least there is still a lot of water in the soil to provide the plant with what it needs for growth. If you water too much at this time, there may be problems. Too much water will cause the roots to start to turn black and rot. This method of judging watering is simple to learn, very effective, and not prone to problems. |
