1. CuttingThere are seasonal restrictions for cuttings, and we usually choose June and July. The specific steps of this method are rather complicated. First of all, we need to screen the branches we are going to use. We should choose semi-mature branches, and these branches must be tender. The branches cannot be too long, twelve to fifteen centimeters will be enough. Pruning work must also be done at the same time. We need to remove the leaves at the bottom and only leave two to three leaves. There is no need to keep too many leaves on the top, just half of them will be enough. In addition, we also need to use a reagent to process it. The reagent is 0.8% indolebutyric acid, and the time is two or three seconds. 2. LayeringFor layering, you should choose mature branches, preferably those that have grown for two to three years, and then peel off the bark about 20 to 30 centimeters below the top. The width of the removed skin is about 2cm, and we will bandage it later. The soil used for wrapping needs to contain rotten leaves, and at the same time we need to use film to fix them so that they can be wrapped well. There are also suitable months for layering. According to experience, we usually carry out this kind of activity in April and May. The layering method here is called high-altitude layering. 3. Planting seedsJust like rice planting, the seasons begin to change, but it has its own suitable sowing time, usually around April. The temperature and humidity at this time are more suitable for seed germination. Especially the temperature, which is exactly between 20℃ and 24℃, which is exactly the best germination temperature for its seeds. The planting method is also different from that of rice. We sow it in pots indoors, which makes it convenient to move it after it grows. The germination time does not need to be too long, and you can see sprouts ten to fifteen days after sowing. Of course, the growth of seedlings is extremely slow, so we need to be patient. |
