How to pot Emei rose

How to pot Emei rose

1. Container selection

The selection criteria are relatively easy to understand. First of all, it is best to choose a larger container because this plant is a shrub and can reach a height of three to four meters. If the container is too small, once it grows taller, it will not be able to provide the nutrients it needs for normal growth. In addition, the drainage should be good, that is, it is best to have drainage holes at the bottom.

2. Choice of Matrix

Of course, the ones that contain more organic matter and have good drainage performance are better.

3. Seed selection and processing

The selection is relatively simple. Just choose those seeds that are fuller and free of pests and diseases. Its processing is relatively troublesome. First of all, after collecting them, they should be placed in a woven bag for about three to five days, then taken out and rinsed with clean water to remove some debris, and then stored in sand. It will probably be ready for removal around the end of April. After that, it needs to be placed in an environment of 18 to 20 degrees Celsius for germination. After this series of treatments, the survival rate is relatively high.

4. Formal Planting

After the seeds are processed, the formal planting process begins. Compared with the seed processing, this step is not troublesome. Put the selected substrate into the container, sprinkle the seeds, and then cover it with a layer of soil.

5. Post-management

This is also very important. The first thing we need to pay attention to is water. We must ensure sufficient water, especially in the first week. In addition, fertilizer is also very important. After the seedlings grow leaves, we need to spray urea or other fertilizers every half a month to help them grow.
