How to sow six times more seeds

How to sow six times more seeds

1. Sowing time

We have written before about the time to sow seeds of Liubaili. Let me emphasize again here that sowing can be done in every season, but the time for germination and flowering varies greatly. If planted before September, it will germinate faster when the temperature is around 20 degrees. It can be sown in spring in February or March, and it will bloom two months later. If it is planted after September, it will not bloom until the next year.

2. Sowing Method

The seeds of Liubeili are very small, and it is very difficult to sow them one by one. It is recommended to sow them by broadcasting. First prepare some sand, sieve it, mix a small amount of sand with the seeds, spread it evenly on the ground, cover it with a thin layer of soil, very thin, and spray water on the ground with a watering can. Never flush directly when the water flow is strong, as this will wash away the seeds.

You can also use the hole broadcasting method. You can use origami to sow the seeds, plant about 10 seeds in each hole, or one seed per hole. It will also be convenient to divide the pots later, but it will test your patience and eyesight.

3. Post-management

1. Divide the basin

The seeds germinate and grow into tiny seedlings with very small leaves. When you count the leaves and see that they have grown to five or six, you can divide the plants into pots. Before dividing the pot, use a watering can to fully moisten the soil to avoid damaging the roots when taking out the plants. If there are two roots that are close to each other, you can abandon one or dig them out, then soak them in water to clean the roots, and then you can separate them smoothly.

2. Whole root

At this time, the roots of the seedlings have grown. When planting them in a new pot, pay attention to tidying up the roots. Gently comb the roots neatly to facilitate extension and cultivate the soil. Place the treated seedlings in a ventilated and sunny place to slow down the growth. Just place them in a place with light, but avoid direct sunlight for a long time.

3. Picking

If you want to see a regular flower ball, you need to pinch the top of the plant to allow the side branches to develop fully. This step should be carried out when the small seedlings grow to about five or six centimeters, and again when the side branches grow to about five or six centimeters.
