How to plant pine red plum seeds

Time of choice

For this method, it is generally carried out in spring and autumn, and sowing is rarely done in summer and winter.

Container selection

The general requirement is good drainage, preferably with holes at the bottom, and there are no other special requirements.

Choice of substrate

The specific requirements are good drainage and air permeability, as well as rich nutrients. Given these requirements, we can choose peat soil or other soil that meets the requirements. In addition, we also need to prepare some fine sand for later use.

Seed selection and processing

I believe everyone is familiar with the principle of selection, which is to choose seeds that are plump and round, without damage or insect infestation. After selecting the seeds, we still have to carry out necessary processing on them, because this can effectively increase the probability of germination. We need to carry out relevant germination treatment on it, which is to put it in the refrigerator or other places for refrigeration, which will take about two days. Note that the temperature does not need to be too low, about three degrees Celsius will be fine.

Specific sowing and treatment

Place the selected substrate into a container, about ten centimeters. After that, mix the seeds evenly with the fine sand we prepared and then sprinkle them into the container.

Then, it’s time to adjust some conditions. First of all, moisture. In order to ensure humidity, we can spray some water on the soil surface. Another thing is the temperature, it is better to keep it around 18 to 25 degrees. Also, the light should not be too strong. If it is too strong, appropriate shading measures can be taken.

Ensure these factors are in suitable conditions, wait about twenty-five days, and we will see it sprout.
