Roses are pinched and buried, and the flowers bloom endlessly

Some flower lovers have grown a lot of rose branches and buds, but in the end, very few flowers bloom. That’s because many branches and buds themselves do not grow flower buds, which wastes nutrients. Huahua will teach you how to prune them quickly so that the roses can bloom quickly!

Where are the blind buds and how to pinch them off?

1. What is blind bud?

Blind buds are buds that will not grow into flower buds. Blind buds usually grow on the trunk and branches. They will stop growing after growing some leaves, and their growth will waste the nutrients of the plant.

2. Pinch off the blind buds directly

Once you have identified the blind bud, just pinch it off with your hands. It is very simple. After pinching it off, the nutrients will be transported to other flower buds, allowing them to grow big and full and bloom!

Where are the blind branches and how to remove them?

1. What is a blind branch?

Blind branches are those branches that have no buds, or those that have grown buds but have withered. Blind branches cannot grow flower buds, so they must be cut off immediately. The branches in the picture below have no buds.

2. Cut off blind branches

Use scissors to cut off the blind branches. If the blind branches are still tender, you can also pinch them off directly with your hands.

After pruning the blind branches, the entire rose plant looks much fresher. The rose on the left is what it looked like before pruning, and the one on the right is after pruning.

Bury some chicken manure in the soil and the roses will bloom

After pinching off the blind buds and branches, you need to fertilize the rose in order to make the flower buds grow rapidly. Apply fermented chicken manure or cake fertilizer once a month to make the roses grow faster. If there are 10 flowers on one branch, everyone will be envious when seeing it!

Camellia is pinched and buried, blooming wildly

Spring is here, and many camellia flowers have already withered. Pruning camellia after flowering is very important. It can concentrate nutrients on new branches, making the branches thick and strong, the flower buds full and healthy, and easily blooming 100 flowers!

Camellia pruning:

1. Cut off the top 1-2 leaves

After the flowers have faded, there will be a pedicel on the top of the branch. In the picture below, there are two leaves on both sides of the pedicel. These two leaves are very close to each other and seem to almost grow together. Use scissors to cut off the top two leaves.

If the top two leaves are staggered, just cut off one of the leaves, as shown in the picture below.

2. Keep 2-3 side branches on each branch

After the top 1-2 leaves are cut off, the apical dominance will be destroyed, which will promote the sprouting of more side branches. It is enough to keep 2-3 side branches on each branch. More side branches will compete for nutrients and make the branches grow thin and weak.

3. Keep 2-3 buds on each side branch

If many flower buds grow on the side branches, if you keep them all, the nutrients will be dispersed, which will eventually cause the flower buds to grow small. Pinch off the buds at the bottom and only keep the top 2-3 buds on the side branches.

Bury some bone residue in the soil, and the camellia will bloom

Only with sufficient nutrition can the camellia bloom large and colorfully. The leftover bones at home are rich in nutrients such as calcium and phosphorus. If you mash them into bone residue and bury them in the soil, it will be hard for the camellia not to bloom!

Jasmine flowers are pinched and buried, and 10 flowers bloom on one branch

Spring is the growing season for jasmine. If you want the jasmine to bloom vigorously, don’t forget to prune it. Don’t be reluctant. The harder you prune, the more luxuriantly it will bloom! Come and see how flowers are trimmed!

Jasmine is pruned like this:

1. Pinch off the old leaves

First, pinch off the old leaves on the branches to reduce nutrient consumption and allow more new buds to germinate. Be careful not to damage the new buds and new leaves when pinching.

2. Cut off old, sick and weak branches

Jasmine blooms on new branches. In March, you should promptly cut off diseased, weak, and old branches to reduce nutrient consumption, promote the sprouting of new branches, and grow more flower buds!

3. Pick the top of the tree in time

When the new branches grow stronger and reach a length of 10 cm, they should be pinched off and the two leaves at the top should be removed to promote the growth of more side branches and make the plant grow fuller!

Bury some compound fertilizer in the soil, and 100 jasmine flowers will bloom

After pruning the jasmine, you need to fertilize it in time. Bury 5 grains of compound fertilizer in the pot every half a month, or water it with fermented rice water, so that the jasmine will grow more and more vigorously and bloom more and bigger!

For those flower lovers who haven't trimmed their flowers yet,

Stop being lazy!

I think Huahua's method is useful.
