How to grow fragrant wood

1. Breeding environment

(1) Soil: The most important requirements are drainage and air permeability, and other requirements include fertility. There are no special requirements for the selection of specific soil, and some perlite or river sand can be added to it.

(2) Watering: During the growth period, the plant needs a lot of water. It can be watered every three to five days, and it is best to water it thoroughly. However, the plant is afraid of waterlogging and cannot be waterlogged.

(3) Light: The plant prefers light and cannot be kept in a dark environment for a long time. However, it should not be exposed to direct sunlight, otherwise the leaves will be damaged. Therefore, diffuse light is most suitable. It can be placed indoors or on the balcony where there is good lighting.

(4) Temperature: preferably between 20 and 25 degrees. However, it is also relatively cold-tolerant and generally has no problems in winter. However, from the perspective of growth, it is more appropriate to maintain it indoors.

(5) Fertilization: The tolerance to fertilizer is not high, and even a slightly heavy application of fertilizer may cause fertilizer damage. No fertilizer is needed during the seedling stage. When it grows up, it grows very fast, so you can use some fertilizer, but not too much.

2. Disease prevention and control

When the plant becomes sick, the leaves may droop and then gradually fall off, and growth will tend to stagnate. First, remove the plant from the pot and check if there is a problem with the roots. If so, cut off the rotten roots immediately and place them in a ventilated place. After drying, plant back into the pot. Then control the water and wait for the plants to recover.
