Tomato planting technology

Tomato planting technology

1. Planting environment

1. Temperature: Tomatoes prefer a relatively warm environment. Generally speaking, controlling the temperature of the planting environment at 15-35℃ can meet its growth needs. If the temperature is controlled between 20-30℃, it will grow better.

2. Light: Different varieties have different light requirements. Generally speaking, if it is given 16 hours of light a day, it can grow and develop very well.

3. Water: Its growth requires the support of water. You need to observe the soil conditions and water it regularly. Do not let the soil dry out completely.

4. Soil: It is best to choose relatively fertile soil with high drainage capacity for planting.

2. Planting Method

1. Land preparation: First, choose a location that meets the above planting environment, then prepare the land, deep turn the soil once, and let the soil be exposed to the sun to reduce diseases and insects.

2. Making ridges: After preparing the land, you need to make ridges on it to facilitate planting. Afterwards, you need to use Benomyl to disinfect the soil to facilitate planting.

3. Base fertilizer: After processing, you need to add base fertilizer to the soil to provide nutrients for plant growth.

4. Sowing: Soak the seeds in warm water for half a day to germinate, and then sow them. When sowing, you need to pay attention to the spacing, which should be around 10-15cm, otherwise it will affect the growth of young plants.

5. Film covering: After sowing, you need to cover it with a thin layer of soil and then cover it with a layer of plastic film to keep it warm.
