How to water the rubber tree

How to water the rubber tree

1. Watering method

When watering rubber trees, follow the principle of drying them thoroughly when dry and watering them thoroughly when watering. When the soil surface turns white, it is a signal of water shortage and should be watered immediately. Its leaves are large and numerous, and absorb more water. During the growing period, water it every 2-3 days, and spray water on the leaves frequently to keep the surrounding air and soil moist.

The temperature is too low in winter, the growth is slow, and the demand for water will decrease accordingly, so the amount of watering should be controlled. Water the plants once every half a month, alternating between dry and wet. Do not water the plants as long as the soil surface is slightly moist and not dry.

2. Water spraying method

When spraying rubber trees, generally only do it when the air is dry or the temperature is too high. This is mainly to relieve the discomfort caused by dryness and high temperature. Spray water on the leaves. Please note that even multiple spraying cannot replace watering, because watering is for the plants, while spraying only targets the leaves.
