Make your own "seedling grower" for growing flowers at home. All you need is a plastic bottle and the cuttings will sprout in 7 days!

I believe everyone is familiar with the rose. You can see one or two when walking on the roadside. Not only are its flowers beautiful in shape and color, but they also have a very pleasant fragrance. Generally, we choose cuttings to propagate roses. Now the weather is cool, which is suitable for cuttings. But for some reason, the roots always rot or fail to sprout during cuttings. Have you ever experienced this?

In fact, when this situation occurs, we can solve it by making a "seedling grower" at home. Generally, when we are doing cuttings, we will insert the prepared branches directly into the soil, and the seedling container will use water to help rooting, so that the survival rate of the cuttings will be much higher.

To make the seedling incubator, we only need a small plastic mineral water bottle. First, we trim the rose branches to be cut into a length of about 8 cm. Remember that it is best to choose some sturdy branches, and then cut the bottom of the branches into an oblique style. You can keep a few leaves on the branches. In this way, we have processed the cuttings. The next step is to put it in the "seedling room".

We pour about 1 cm of clean water into a clean mineral water bottle, and then put the prepared rose branches into the bottle. The bottom of the branches must be immersed in the clean water. If conditions permit, the branches can also be disinfected in advance, which will speed up the germination process. After the placement is successful, we don’t need to cover the bottle with a lid. We just need to move the bottle to a place with scattered light for maintenance.

Because the bottle can keep warm, if you put the rose branches in it, you can see small white buds in about 7 days. After the rose branches sprout, we take them out and transplant them into the soil, and then care for them in the normal way. This way of cutting will ensure quick rooting and also ensure the success rate of cutting.

In fact, you don’t need to spend too much time on the daily care of roses. It is a typical light-loving plant and needs at least 5 hours of sufficient light a day so that it can bloom vigorously and the branches will not grow too long. Remember to move the rose potted plant indoors in winter, and take good insulation measures in the north, and then it can continue to grow.

When watering roses, pay attention to the moderate dryness and wetness. During the peak growing season in March and April and before flowering, be sure to water them every two days. In summer, when the roses bloom on the branches, you need to slightly adjust the amount of watering. When fertilizing roses, you should also apply thin fertilizers frequently. The nutrients provided by the thin fertilizer water can promote the roses to bloom more vigorously and in larger quantities.

The "seedling nursery" method of cuttings mentioned above is not only suitable for roses, but also for other plants that need cuttings. If you have any better tips for cuttings, please leave a message and share them with Huahua.
