1. Soil culture and transplantationTo change the original potted plants to hydroponic cultivation, first hold the roots of the plants with your hands, remove them from the pots, shake off the soil in the pots and then prune them. Pruning mainly involves cutting off rotten roots or branches that grow too densely. After cutting, rinse gently with clean water to clean all the soil on the roots, and do not leave any soil in the gaps between the roots. After washing, separate the large bunch of plants one by one and place them in hydroponic containers for maintenance. In the first three days after transplanting from soil to water, you should change the water every day to avoid infection. After that, change the water every two or three days to allow the roots to adapt to the environment in the water. After about ten days, you can change the water once a week. 2. Branch hydroponicsCut a stem of the green radish from a healthy mother plant, or you can use some branches that are too long, too dense, or damaged from the mother plant. It is best to have branches with aerial roots, which are easier to survive. Remove the leaves under the stems and branches, insert them into clean water, change the water every day, and after a few days, the stems and branches will grow new roots and become new hydroponic plants. For hydroponic plants, the water quality must be kept clean in the first few days. The leaves on the branches should not be immersed in water, otherwise they will rot and produce bacteria to pollute the water quality, thus preventing the branches from rotting before they take root. |
