How to cultivate green radish to make it more vigorous

Growing conditions of Pothos

The big green radish has a strong vitality and will come alive when it comes into contact with water. It prefers a humid and hot environment and avoids direct sunlight. It likes shade and soil that is rich in humus, loose, fertile, and slightly acidic. The temperature for wintering should not be lower than 15℃.

How to grow big green radish

To grow the big green radish well, first, water it sufficiently, but not excessively. Second, let it receive sufficient light, but be careful to avoid direct sunlight in summer. Third, fertilize it once every 15 days. Fourth, repot it regularly, and when repotting, loosen up the roots before putting it in the pot.

Watering the green radish

The big green radish must have enough water. In the summer when there is plenty of sunshine, it can be watered once every 1-2 days. In other seasons, it is best to wait until the soil becomes dry before watering. Spray water to clean the leaves in time. If there is too much dust accumulated, it will not only affect the appearance, but also affect its normal growth.

Fertilizing green radish

If the temperature for the growth of the green radish is controlled at 15-28℃, fertilizer can be applied once every 15 days. After fertilizing, it needs to be watered appropriately, which is beneficial to its growth.

Disease and pest control of green radish

If root rot occurs on the big green radish, you only need to spray it with carbendazim in the early stage of the disease, or directly irrigate the roots. If the situation is more serious, you must pull out the plant, remove the rotten roots, change the soil and pot and replant it. If scale insects appear, you can gently brush them off with a used toothbrush and spray them with fungicide.

How to grow green radish at home

When growing the green radish at home, control the temperature between 18-25 degrees for good growth. Place it in a well-lit place indoors for maintenance. Do not water it too much, and do not allow water to accumulate. Apply more fertilizer during the growing season. It is best to use special fertilizers. If scale insects appear as pests, take timely precautions.

Precautions for the maintenance of green radish

Because ordinary fertilizers are difficult for the big green radish to absorb, special fertilizers should be used for it, and more foliar fertilizers should be applied in winter so that it can grow vigorously.
