Paris polyphylla growth environment conditions and requirements

Paris polyphylla mostly grows under forests, on roadsides, in ravines and other areas at an altitude of 2000-3500 meters. It is widely distributed in Fujian, Hubei, Hunan and Guangxi provinces in my country. It prefers a cool, humid growing environment with adequate rainfall.

Paris polyphylla is also known as Dian Paris polyphylla and Seven-leaf Paris polyphylla. The most suitable growth temperature for it is around 20℃. The plant is relatively cold-resistant and has no frost damage at low temperatures. It can grow and germinate normally in an environment of 2℃.

Fritillaria prefers a shady and humid growing environment, requiring the air humidity to be above 75%. When watering, follow the principle of not watering unless the soil is dry, but do not allow water to accumulate in the potting soil.

Paris polyphylla likes loose, breathable, fertile, slightly acidic soil, which can be prepared with leaf mold, garden soil, and river sand. Do not use too sticky soil, otherwise it will affect the growth of the plant.

Paris polyphylla is a perennial herb with a very long growth cycle. The seeds begin to germinate 3-4 months after sowing, the taproot sprouts at the end of the year, the first heart leaf grows in the second year, and the first harvest can be achieved after five years.
