Environmental conditions and requirements for the growth of fir mushrooms

Fir mushroom is also called pine mushroom and pine fungus. This plant is native to my country and is a specialty of Hubei Province. It is often found in low-altitude coniferous forests and mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests. It likes a warm and humid growing environment.

Growth temperature of fir mushroom

Fir mushrooms prefer cold and humid environments. The most suitable growth temperature is around 20℃. Fir mushrooms are easiest to find after the plum rain season. Temperatures that are too high or too low are not conducive to its growth.

Fir mushroom growth humidity

Fir mushroom is a plant that has high requirements for air humidity and its drought resistance is relatively poor. The best relative humidity of the air is around 80%-85% so that the plant can grow normally.

Fir mushroom growing soil

Fir mushrooms have strong adaptability to soil and can grow well in yellow soil, purple soil, mountain yellow soil and lime soil, but they prefer yellow soil with a thick leaf litter layer and rich in organic matter.

Growth cycle and process of fir mushroom

The fir mushroom plant cannot be cultivated artificially. It mainly grows between trees such as fir, sassafras, pine, and camphor. It has a growing period of only about 20 days each year and is harvested from June to September in the lunar calendar. It is difficult to transport and is rarely seen in big cities.
