1. Select the site for deep plowing

Before planting lantern fruit, you should choose loose, fertile and humus-rich soil with a slope of no more than 10 degrees. Before planting, you should deep plow the soil and then add appropriate amount of farmyard manure as base fertilizer at the bottom of the pit.

2. Planting

Place the young cape gooseberry seedlings in the dug holes, then fill and compact the surrounding soil. The best planting spacing is 2×1 meter.

3. Field management

After planting, we must strengthen soil management, remove surrounding weeds, and take timely measures to prevent insects and diseases to ensure that the plants can bear fruit normally.
