Generally, two small oval leaves will grow after germination, and then after a period of maintenance, a palm-shaped leaf will grow between the two small oval leaves. As the loofah grows, it will slowly have some short whiskers, and then the loofah can grow and bloom normally.

It is generally more suitable to sow loofah after March every year, and the sowing can usually be completed before May. It takes about a month of care after sowing before it can germinate and emerge from the soil.
