Beech is a national second-level key protected wild plant and is very precious. It grows extremely slowly, especially when young, and needs 6-7 years of care before it grows slightly faster. Mature beech trees are generally several hundred years old.

Beech planting time and method

Beech has strong vitality and strong adaptability to the environment. It is suitable for planting in spring and autumn. The main methods of reproduction are sowing, cutting and grafting.

When the beech fruit is ripe, it can be harvested in time and placed in a dry place to dry naturally for 2-3 days. Then sow the seeds, or choose strong branches for cuttings. In the early stage of seedling management, water should be sprayed to keep moisture, disinfected to prevent diseases, and ventilated. In the middle stage, the film should be removed and the shade should be slowly removed to harden the seedlings. In the later stage, fertilize and remove weeds.
