Tea seed planting

1. Tea seeds contain a lot of oil, which needs to be converted into nutrients to supply the seeds for growth and germination. Therefore, it takes a long time for tea seeds to germinate after sowing, usually 25 to 35 days.

2. The most suitable time for sowing tea seeds is from November to February of the following year. The seeds need to be germinated before planting. Soak the seeds in clean water for 5-7 days, change the water every day, and the planting depth should be 3-5 cm.

3. Choose tea tree varieties that are resistant to adversity, high-quality, high-yielding, adaptable, commercially viable and suitable for market demand. Renovate the soil in advance and apply sufficient base fertilizer. The seeds need to be soaked in water, preferably germinated, and then sown. When the tea seedlings are planted, the roots should be dipped in yellow mud. After sowing, compact the soil and water enough to establish roots.
