Longan planting results after several years

After the longan tree is planted, it needs to be cared for for 3-4 years before it can bear fruit. If it is carefully cared for, it will form an early-fruiting and high-yielding crown and a developed root system. It will begin to bear a small amount of fruit, and after about 4-5 years it will enter a high-yield period, which can last up to 20-30 years.

After grafting, longan will bloom and bear fruit after 3-4 years of care. During the seedling stage, the nutritional growth should be properly controlled to allow it to bear an appropriate amount of fruit, while also promoting the continued development and expansion of the crown and root system.

Potted longan fruiting

The reason for not bearing fruit may be that after potting, the ability to absorb water and nutrients decreases, and the maintenance environment is dark, which may easily lead to problems such as weak tree vigor, slow growth and no fruiting.
