Pothos is native to Southeast Asia, and is widely distributed in the Malay Peninsula, Indonesia and the Solomon Islands. It is now widely cultivated and is planted in both the north and south of China.

Growth cycle of green radish

Pothos likes shade, humidity and heat, and is afraid of direct sunlight. It likes slightly acidic soil that is rich in humus, has good drainage, is loose and fertile. It is not resistant to low temperatures, and the temperature in winter needs to be above 15 degrees. It has very strong growth ability and will come alive when it comes into contact with water. It has high ornamental value and is generally maintained in potted plants.

The growing period of green radish is very long. It starts growing in March and lasts until October, which can be said to be a growing period of more than half a year.

Growth rate of green radish

Choose healthy branches, insert them into the soil, wait for 30 days, and buds will grow on the top of the branches. Then place them in a bright place and keep the soil slightly moist. No fertilizer is needed at this time. Two months later, after the first leaf grows, you need to apply appropriate fertilizer. It is best to choose diluted water-soluble fertilizer.

The growth rate of green radish is relatively fast.

Green radish growth cycle management

Temperature management: Pothos is sensitive to temperature and can easily get frostbite if the temperature is too low. The indoor temperature needs to be around 15 degrees. If there is heating, it should be kept away from heating equipment. The most suitable growth temperature is between 20 and 30 degrees.

Fertilization management: Chlorophytum mainly applies nitrogen fertilizer, supplemented by potassium fertilizer. During the period of vigorous growth, it is necessary to increase fertilization appropriately. Fertilization can be done once every 10 days, and the amount can also be increased. At other times, increase or decrease according to its growth conditions, and stop fertilizing in winter.
