Introduction to Oil Peony

The oil peony belongs to the Paeoniaceae family. It is also called peony, Luoyang flower, Guyu flower, deer leek, etc. It is mainly distributed in the northwest region of my country. It is more common in Taibai Mountain in Shaanxi, Wanhua Mountain in Yan'an and other places. It has relatively few varieties, only two, namely Fengdan and Ziban.

Oil peony is generally planted between late September and late October every year. It can take root in the same year, but it will not sprout until March of the following year. The growth rate is still relatively fast. During the maintenance period, there must be sufficient water environment, which is more conducive to growth.
