What is Ququcai?

Ququcai is a small wild vegetable belonging to the genus Sonchus of the Asteraceae family. In the north, Ququcai is often called green vegetable, milk vegetable, and Sonchus, etc. It often grows in spring and summer, and is generally available in April and May. Common producing areas include Hebei, Beijing-Tianjin, Shanxi, and Northeast China.

What does ququcai look like?

The appearance of the dandelion is similar to that of the dandelion. The plant is about ten centimeters tall, has small yellow flowers, large leaves with white veins, and only short stems. It usually grows on fertile soil.

How to make ququcai

1. Stir-fry
