1. Land preparation

2. Planting

If the sowing period is too late or too small, it is easy for the broccoli to have low yields and lose quality and commercial value.

3. Seedling cultivation

When the seedlings have four true leaves, they can be transplanted and watered with thin manure and urine. After about half a month of transplanting, when old and strong seedlings are formed, they can be transplanted out, and the mutant seedlings can be pulled out and thrown away.

4. Field management

About twenty days before transplanting broccoli, the field should be plowed, and compound fertilizer and organic fertilizer should be spread as base fertilizer. After covering the soil, herbicide should be sprayed to prevent weed damage. About two months after transplanting, the broccoli is in the initial stage of rapid expansion, so apply manure water or biogas slurry plus urea as topdressing once.

5. Pest and disease control

During the growth period, broccoli is susceptible to diseases and pests. During the maintenance period, the plants need to be sprayed with fungicides regularly. Generally, carbendazim or thiophanate-methyl can be sprayed once every 15 to 20 days to kill insects and inhibit bacteria. If the plants become sick or attacked by aphids in the later stage, the diseased and insect-infested leaves should be removed in time, and the plants should be sprayed with antiseptic alum or streptomycin to eliminate insects and diseases.

6. Harvest after maturity

Generally, the mature plant seed collection method is adopted. Before harvesting, disease-free plants with the characteristics of the variety are selected in the field as seed plants.
