Borax as fertilizer

Borax can be used as boron fertilizer, because borax is also a kind of boron fertilizer. The processed borax promotes the circulation of carbohydrates. The appropriate boron content in the plant body can improve the supply of organic matter in various organs of the crop, make the crop grow normally, and increase the fruit setting rate and fruit setting rate.

Borax can be used as flower fertilizer, but the boron content of conventional borax, boric acid, boron magnesium fertilizer, etc. is too low, and the solubility is relatively poor. The effect of supplementing boron is limited. It is best to use it in combination with other nutrients in the later stage. It can promote the growth and fruiting of rapeseed, cotton, soybeans, beets, apples, and citrus.

How to make borax fertilizer

1. Borax is white crystals or powder, which is easily soluble in 40 degrees Celsius hot water. It can be mixed with other fertilizers to be used as base fertilizer and top dressing. The application amount is 0.25-0.4 catties per mu. Top dressing should be applied early and evenly.

2. Use a solution with a concentration of 0.05-0.2%, spray 100-150 catties of solution per mu. It is best to spray when the crop switches from vegetative growth to reproductive growth. The seed soaking concentration is 0.01-0.05%, and the seed soaking time is 6-12 hours. Generally, 0.2-0.5 grams of borax is used per kilogram of seeds for seed mixing.

Key points for using borax fertilizer

1. Do not spray in extremely hot weather or before rain to avoid burning the seedlings or loss of fertilizer. The best time for spraying is in the early morning or afternoon every day. Spray again after 7 to 10 days.

2. When spraying on cereal crops or crops with smooth leaves, add 0.1% adhesive, otherwise the effect will be poor.
