Can coriander seedlings be transplanted?

Coriander seedlings can be raised and transplanted, and the time is usually chosen in summer and autumn. When the temperature is below 35°C, the survival rate of transplanted coriander seedlings will be higher. It can also promote the reproductive growth of the plants, which is beneficial to increase the yield of vegetables.

Transplanting method of coriander seedlings

1. Germination treatment

Coriander needs to be germinated before seedling cultivation. Select high-quality coriander seeds, soak them in 40℃ water for 2-3 hours, take them out and place them in nutrient soil, they will germinate quickly.

2. Matrix preparation

The cultivation medium of coriander is very critical. The soil must be fertile and loose. You can use leaf mold, nutrient soil, and sandy soil to mix and bury the cake fertilizer granules in it.

3. Planting

Before transplanting, apply appropriate organic fertilizer to the soil, sow the germinated coriander seedlings in it, cover it evenly with thin soil about 1 cm thick, and finally water it thoroughly.

Precautions for transplanting coriander seedlings

You need to wait until the coriander seedlings grow true leaves before removing the plastic film, and water them frequently, following the principle of watering when the soil is dry. In the later stage, fertilization should be mainly farmyard manure, and combined with weeding. This will allow the coriander to grow better.
