If the jade plant is well maintained, it will bloom in summer and autumn, and its flowering period is relatively long, about one hundred days, and it may also bloom in winter. However, if it is not well maintained, it may only bloom once every few years, or not bloom at all.

How to grow and bloom Yushu

1. Light : Jade plant is a light-loving plant. It needs to be placed in a place with sufficient light for maintenance throughout the year, and it must maintain a warm growing environment so that it will gradually bloom. If there is insufficient light, flower buds cannot be formed.

2. Temperature : Spring and autumn are the growing seasons for jade plants, so the temperature needs to be kept between 20-30 degrees. In summer, it needs proper shade to avoid direct sunlight. If the temperature exceeds 38 degrees, it will grow slowly, causing delayed flowering.

3. Water : Jade plant is relatively drought-resistant, so it does not need to be watered frequently under normal circumstances. Water it when the soil is relatively dry, and water it thoroughly. During the growing season, water it every 2-3 days to avoid water accumulation.

4. Fertilizer : Jade plant needs top dressing during the growing period. Apply decomposed liquid fertilizer 2-3 times a month to make the plant fuller. Before flowering, it is also necessary to apply some phosphorus and potassium fertilizers to promote the formation of flower buds.
