The flowers are very beautiful, with a variety of colors, which is very spectacular.

How to grow and bloom caterpillar flowers

1. The flower soil is breathable

When cultivating caterpillar flowers, you need to provide soil with strong air permeability and good drainage. It will grow better in such soil. When preparing the flower soil yourself, you can mix leaf mold, peat soil, and rice husk ash.

2. Reasonable exposure to light

If the caterpillar flower wants to grow better, it should be kept in a sunny place in spring, autumn and winter, and shade measures should be taken in summer. It is very afraid of direct sunlight, so it is extremely important to avoid exposing the plant to the sun during maintenance.

3. Breeding temperature

The growth rate of caterpillar flower will become very fast in a warm environment, preferably around 15-25℃. Pay attention to keeping warm during the winter, otherwise it will suffer frostbite because it is not cold-resistant. On the contrary, too high temperature will also affect its growth, so try to control it within an appropriate range.

4. Water supply

During the growth period of caterpillar flower, it is necessary to water it in time to keep the soil moist. It has good drought resistance, so do not water it too much. If the soil is too moist, it will cause root rot and may also cause the flower buds to fall off.
