Cherry Planting Time and Method Planting Time and Management Techniques

Cherry planting time

Cherries prefer a warm growing environment, so they are generally planted in March in spring or October in autumn. The climate in these two time periods is relatively warm and the humidity is more suitable. The survival rate will be higher after sowing, and it is also conducive to germination.

Cherry Planting Methods

1. Substrate treatment: When planting cherries, it is best to choose loose, moist, organic-rich, and deep sandy loam. The soil needs to be loosened before planting, and sufficient base fertilizer should be applied to allow it to have sufficient nutrients for growth.

2. Planting management: When planting cherries, you need to dig a small hole every 20-30 cm, then put the seedlings in it, cover them with soil, and water them thoroughly after compacting. After they are planted and survive, they need to be watered frequently.

3. Post-planting management: Cherries grow relatively strongly, so during the seedling stage, quick-acting nitrogen fertilizer is mainly used, which can effectively promote the growth and development of the root system. During the flowering period, dilute urea should be sprayed on the leaves.

Cherry planting precautions

When cherries are growing, you need to pay attention to the fact that they prefer a warm climate environment, so you should avoid low temperature environments during maintenance, and have sufficient sunlight, which is more beneficial to their growth, especially when they are flowering and fruiting.
