How often should I water the Smoking King (Peacock Green)

How often should I water the smoking king?

The King of Smoking is actually the Chinese evergreen. Because the plant has a strong ability to absorb secondhand smoke, when watering this plant, you can follow the principle of "watering when dry and watering when wet". Never allow water to accumulate. In addition to daily watering, you can also occasionally water it with a little beer water.

1. Watering in spring

In spring, the plants have just passed their dormant period and have a relatively high demand for water. They need to be watered about once every 4-6 days to ensure that they have sufficient water.

2. Watering in summer

Water evaporates quickly in summer, so you need to water the plants about every 2-3 days. In addition, you can spray water on the leaves and the environment of the plants to achieve the purpose of keeping warm and moisturizing.

3. Watering in autumn

The humidity of the maintenance environment in autumn is usually relatively high, and the plants do not need much water, so they only need to be watered once every 5-7 days.

4. Watering in winter

If the temperature is below 10℃ in winter, you need to strictly control the water and do not let the soil be too moist. It is only necessary to water the Smoking King once every three weeks.

Precautions for watering the smoking king

1. When watering the Smoking King, you can also add some liquid fertilizer so that watering and fertilizing can be completed at the same time.

2. The smoking king is a plant that likes moisture but is afraid of waterlogging. When watering, you should "water when the soil is dry, and don't water if it is not dry."
