Where do loquat trees grow?

Loquat is suitable for places with warm climates. If planted in the north, it needs to be grown in a greenhouse because the temperature difference in the north is obvious throughout the year, which is not suitable for its growth, especially in winter. If no insulation measures are taken, it will be difficult to bear fruit.

The loquat tree is native to the subtropical region, and needs to be grown in a relatively high temperature environment. An annual average temperature above 12°C can ensure its normal growth.

Generally, it can be planted in areas without particularly severe cold weather. It is currently planted in Yunnan, Gansu, Henan, Anhui, Zhejiang and other regions of my country.

Loquat tree growth environment

1. Growth temperature : Loquat has high requirements for temperature during its growth process. Generally speaking, it needs to grow at a temperature of 10℃ or above, but its optimal growth temperature should be around 20℃.

2. Growth water : Loquat trees are suitable for growing in a relatively humid environment, and the soil needs to be kept moist at all times. In summer, the frequency of watering needs to be increased appropriately, and you can even combine it with spraying water to increase the air humidity in its growing environment.

3. Growth nutrients : During the growth of loquat trees, most nutrients are supplemented by organic fertilizers, and can also be used together with potassium fertilizers. When the loquat trees are in fruiting season, some nitrogen fertilizers can also be applied appropriately.
